Laboratory chemical tests and analytical studies

Laboratory chemical tests and analytical studies Range of laboratory services includes the following types of tests:

All samples delivered to the lab must go through representativity estimation, according to the results, a set of samples is formed for further studies.



Gas condensate and oil and gas condensate field zones

Degassing and debutanizing (optionally) of wet condensate;

A set of chromatographic studies of formation fluid components providing chromatograms;

Composition and characteristics calculation of formation fluid with providing results in component-fractional and component-group view;

Detailed analysis of degassed condensate (detecting composition of naphtha) with

providing a histogram of homologous series;

Physical chemical analysis of stable condensate and formation water.

PVT studies

Upon Customer's request, within the scope of PVT-experiment, the following studies can be performed:


Constant mass expansion (CME) – a study which allows to define:

PV-ratios for different temperatures;

Volume of liquid phase;

Bubble point pressure;

Saturation pressure;

Fluid compressibility;

Formation gas supercompressibility factor;

Density and viscosity of the formation fluid.


Constant volume study (CVD) - a study which allows to define:

Quantity of produced gas (moles);

Formation gas supercompressibility factor;

Volume of saturated phase at the stages;

Composition and properties of produced gas at the stages;

Composition and properties of the left liquid phase;

Extraction coefficient at each stage.

Stage separation- a study, which allows to define:

Gas content at the stages;

Volume factor at the stages;

Oil and gas density under standard conditions;

Separation fluids composition.


Flash separation - a study which allows to define:

Gas condensate ratio;

Volume factor;

Oil and gas gravity under standard conditions;

Gas and separation fluid, formation gas composition;

Potential content of C5+ for formation gas.
